I had the opportunity in exploring some of the famous fashion museums in the world. I have been inspired by collections of specific designers and particular pieces and accessories.
I've been at Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Paris on November 2017. The museum was opening 1 month before. There is inside a permanent collections, his studio, the salon rooms where the clients was received and now a temporary exhibition on Betty Catroux, a muse of Yves Saint Laurent. I was so fascinated in seeing his haute couture's creations, his jewelry collection, his inspiring studio with sketches, papers, open books, accessories and the video room.
Fashion goes through time and culture.YVS start to work with one of my inspiring fashion icon designer Dior and in 1961 he created his own house. His style changed the fashion approach wanting a woman to look comfortable and elegant at the same time. He introduced the tuxedo suit for woman (everybody have seen Bianca Jagger wearing it in her wedding day with Mick Jagger), the safari jacket, tighting pants and high knee boots. Personally I've started to appreciate his style growing up and now I like mix my pretty style with a touch of rock, cozy inspiration.
