The atelier of Percossi Papi paid homage to Dante by making Dante's visions tangible through his jewels and the artistic installations, objects, photographs, panels and texts of his family with whom he collaborates.
Caronte, Minotauro and the Erinni introduce us to this journey of Hell in the Divina Commedia.
The eyes of Caronte are Carnelian eyes, with jade and pearls, stones of different colours, shapes and opacities set and bound together in a single destiny like souls.
The Erinni looks like three women with snakes' hair, whose jewels are represented by the dragon, serpent and griffins in an ancient technique in which precious and semi-precious stones have been set.
The journey ends with the Minotauro who is characterized by a pectoral jewel of corals, turquoises, garnets, agates, lapis lazuli, blue topaz, amethysts and other stones to express the fire of the river of blood.
