"1997 Fashion Big Bang" exhibition will be at the Palais Galliera up to the 16 July 2023.
In the 1997 fashion changed forever: there was a revival in haute couture and many talented designers moved to the French Fashion Houses as John Galliano at Dior, Alexander McQueen at Givenchy; The 1st couture collection with the equality between the sexes by Jean Paul Gautier; Martin Margiela introduced a collection called "Stockman" where tailors' mannequins replaced the body.
So many changing that become definitive references points for the industry.
